The Creative Stay

You don't need to call yourself an artist to stay here.

This is for anyone who wants to paint, draw, or simply make something – and has been looking for the right place to do it. Somewhere with good light, thoughtful materials, and no pressure to produce anything in particular.

It's also for people who are tired of trips where creativity gets squeezed into the margins. Here, it's the whole point. Just show up and create.

A Day, Your Way

Maybe you're in the studio before breakfast, working while the light is still cool. Maybe you spend the morning out – at the beach, on a bicycle, wandering the old town – and return in the afternoon when you're ready to paint.

The studio is open whenever you are. You pick up where you left off, or begin something completely different. A studio host is around if you want a fresh pair of eyes or to talk through an idea – and out of your way when you don't.

Some guests spend most of their time in the studio. Others drift in and out between everything else the day brings.

The Studio

The studio is fully equipped and ready to use from the moment you arrive. Easels, tables, brushes, paints, charcoal, watercolour, pastels, coloured pencils – the shared materials are all there, included in your stay. No need to bring anything.

A small selection of premium materials – canvas panels, stretched canvases, and custom-made stretched canvases – are available to purchase if you need them.

Our studio host Vinh is usually around, setting up, working on something of his own, or simply available if you want to talk through an idea. He won't hover, but he's there if you need him.
